50th National Tractor Pulling Championships will help Make-A-Wish grant the wishes of kids battling life-threatening medical conditions
TOLEDO, Ohio (August 9, 2016) — Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana and the National Tractor Pulling Championships will once again team up to help local kids during the 50th anniversary of the four-day Championship event Aug. 18-21 in Bowling Green, Ohio. For at least 24 of its 50 years running, the National Tractor Pulling Championships have hosted Make-A-Wish children and their families for a weekend of fun. Their presence has always inspired guests of the Tractor Pull to donate to and help grant hundreds of wishes to Northwest Ohio children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
More than 50 past and present Wish families from the Toledo area will be in attendance throughout the weekend. An auction to benefit Make-A-Wish will be held on Saturday, August 20 between the day’s tractor pulling sessions. Attendees of the Championship may also directly support Make-A-Wish by making a donation on site.
Make-A-Wish relies on the financial support of the local community to grant wishes. For more information on ways to help, visit ohio.wish.org, call 1-877-206-9474, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at @makeawishohkyin.
The National Tractor Pulling Championships will be held at Wood County Fairgrounds. Tickets are available online https://www.pulltown.com/tickets.asp and at participating Kroger stores.
