LABSCO, a Louisville based specialty sales agent of innovative laboratory technologies and products to hospitals, physician office laboratories and alternate healthcare settings, held its annual LABSCO national sales meeting in September.
However, instead of solely focusing on ways to improve the company, LABSCO utilized the meeting to improve the community, as well. The sales team banded together to help grant the wishes of deserving local children.
To raise the funds, LABSCO hosted a LABSCO Gives Back Night at Sports and Social Club in downtown Louisville. Employees and guests donated by purchasing raffle tickets, challenging each other to karaoke and taking part in other team building activities.
“It is inspiring to see LABSCO rally their entire sales team together in support of the Make-A-Wish mission,” says Development Officer Alana Karl. “Their generosity will help us provide life-changing wish experiences for Kentuckiana children with life-threatening medical conditions.”
The sales team raised a total of $13,065, which the LABSCO executive team matched, bringing the total to $26,130 for Make-A-Wish.
“Due to a shortened national sales meeting this year, we were limited to a one-night charity event. I am very proud to say that the LABSCO team came together to actually double last year’s total in half the amount of time. This year’s LABSCO Gives Back Night exemplified the LABSCO culture of success and our guiding principles; we differentiate with our people, results matter, and we always lead by example.” said Nathan Frisbie, chairman of the event.
