Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana is proud to honor 14 women in the Indianapolis community for their accomplishments in business, philanthropy and dedication to the Make-A-Wish mission through the Women Inspiring Strength and Hope (W.I.S.H.) program.
W.I.S.H is a Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana initiative that gives influential women in our communities a special opportunity to give hope, strength and joy to local children with critical illnesses. Their incredible fundraising efforts make a meaningful difference in the lives of local wish kids.
A celebration luncheon for the honorees and their supporters will be held Wednesday, March 14th at the Conrad Indianapolis. The event will be hosted by Nicole Pence Baker, Lifestyle Blogger and member of Pence Media Group.
Dr. Jackie Wolf, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer with Anthem, and Governance Board Member of Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, will be giving a welcome message on behalf of title sponsor, Anthem. She will also share her passion for the mission, and the need for more strong females to step up and be a part of working toward the Make-A-Wish vision, to grant the wish of every eligible child. Currently, Make-A-Wish is only able to grant 1 out of every 2 wishes due to funding.
Guests of the Anthem Women Inspiring Strength and Hope Celebration Luncheon will experience a live wish reveal, where a child will learn his/her wish will be coming true! In addition, guests will hear from Indiana Regional Board member and Wish Mom, Alison, who will speak about the lasting impact a wish had on her family’s life. Her son, Jackson, wished to go to Legoland in 2007, and the memories of his wish serve as a way to honor his legacy. Alison is dedicated to ‘Wishing it Forward,’ to help make sure every child battling a critical illness gets the opportunity to experience their heartfelt wish come true.
