Volunteer Wish-Granter Training is coming to Brook Park, OH!
Our mission is possible only with the dedication of our volunteers. You can help make the wishes of local children come true when you become a Make-A-Wish volunteer. As a wish granter, your main duties are to meet with the family, ask the child about his/her desired wish and act as a liaison between Make-A-Wish staff and the wish family during the wish process. The average time commitment is 1-2 hours per month.
Wish-Granting Volunteer Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must order and pass a background check (if you have not had one with us in the past three years) prior to becoming a wish granter. Note: background instructions are sent after wish-granter training.
Lasting approximately two hours, this in-person training will teach you everything you need to know to be a Make-A-Wish volunteer!
