CLEVELAND, Ohio (October 2018) — Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana hopes to raise $150,000 to grant wishes for northeast Ohio children battling critical illnesses at its 26th annualWalk For Wishes® presented by the Prince & Izant Company at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on
October 6, 2018.
This year, Aaron Goldhammer from ESPN 850 Cleveland will kick off the Walk with a ribboncutting ceremony. Throughout the Walk, participants will have the opportunity to meet local wish kids and hear about the power of a wish. One of the wish kids participating is 8-year-old Noelle whose wish to go to Hawaii and stay at Aulani®, a Disney Resort & Spa will soon be granted. Noelle shared with her volunteers that when she chose her wish, she wanted to visit Hawaii because she had never been to the beach and saw it on TV. In addition to the beach, she also wants to see a volcano. Noelle and her family will help Aaron Goldhammer kick-off the
festivities, including cutting the ribbon to start the Walk.
Walkers will enjoy a family-friendly walk with activities for kids, wish experience stations, food, and fun. Those wanting to help grant wishes should register online in advance at oki.wish.org/content/walk-for-wishes/northeast-ohio-walk-for-wishes, or on-site at the event.

About Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana
Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness.
