“We’re so grateful to call Discover a part of the Make-A-Wish family,” said Make-A-Wish OKI Regional Director of Development Carol Richardson. “Over the past seven years, Discover has generously contributed enough to grant nearly 50 life-changing wishes for children in central Ohio! Discover cares so deeply for our mission and continues to make a huge impact for local kids. We can’t thank Discover and its employees enough for supporting our mission.”
“Make-A-Wish is an outstanding local organization Discover has worked with for more than three decades and we’re truly inspired by the programs they offer to support kids facing critical illnesses and their families,” said Keith Carroll, VP of Operations. “Supporting the local community is embedded in our culture and values and we actively support the Columbus area through a mix of volunteer efforts and financial donations, including stellar organizations like Make-A-Wish.”
The 2020 Central Ohio BIG Wish Gala will be held at Columbus Athenaeum on Saturday, February 29th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
About Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana:
OKI creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Founded in 1983, we have granted more than 17,000 wishes, and in fiscal year 2019, granted the largest number of wishes in the country. Make-A-Wish is more than wish granting, it’s a global movement of transforming lives through hope, and wishes need YOU! For every wish we grant, there is another child waiting for a wish— nearly 400 children in central Ohio are waiting right now.
