Caleb’s life has been anything but easy. Fighting a life-threatening neurological condition and a seizure disorder, this ten-year-old little warrior continues to smile through his adversity.
When wish granters met with Caleb, he wished to go to the sunny beaches of Hawaii to experience and explore all that its natural beauty had to offer.
Caleb and his family experienced the trip of a lifetime when they were whisked away to Oahu. They enjoyed quality beach time where they were able to soak up the sun and spend time together as a family. Caleb lived out one of his lifelong dreams when he took a helicopter ride and got to view the beautiful island scenery from above.
The big surprise of the trip came when Caleb went to Hawaii’s Sea Life Park. Not only did he get to experience the park with VIP treatment, but he also got to meet and swim with one of the world’s only wholphins! The wholphin, Kekaimalu, is a hybrid of a false killer whale and a bottle-nosed dolphin. The two had a blast swimming together, enjoying the sunshine. Caleb was smiling from ear to ear as he hugged Kekaimalu.
Caleb’s trip to Hawaii provided he and his family with an opportunity enjoy time together. The unforgettable memories they brought home with them will continue to provide laughter and joy each time they reflect on the trip.
“When he had his surgery, we thought his million dollar smile had disappeared, but it was on full display while he was in paradise.” Says Caleb’s mom, Carrie.
